Locketts: Ava James

About Us

Josh and I met at Super Summer in 2002 when we were the mom and dad of a small group of 8th graders. One week as "husband" and "wife" sealed the deal for us. We were married January 1, 2005. After graduating from Texas A&M we moved to the Waco area so Josh could get his Masters in Theological Studies from Truett Seminary at Baylor. We welcomed Ava James into our little family on January 22, 2007. After earning his MTS, Josh decided to pursue a career in law. We fell in love with the small, college town charm of our new hometown, Norman, Oklahoma. Josh will graduate from The University of Oklahoma College of Law in May of 2012. I began working as an admissions counselor for OU Law in January of 2012, and Ava started preschool at Pumpkin Shell. We can’t wait to see where the road leads next…
